I learned a photography lesson - when transferring camera contents from one bag to another, make sure to completely empty out the bag you don't plan on using. I didn't realize I had forgotten the quick release plate for my tripod head until I had my first shot set up. Luckily, I had my Joby Gorillapod in my bag and was able to secure the camera...the hard way!
